What are dynamic QR codes?▼
Dynamic QR codes let you change the destination URL anytime without reprinting the code. They also track every scan with full analytics — device, location, time, and more.
Can I switch plans anytime?▼
Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately for upgrades.
What happens when I cancel or downgrade?▼
Your QR codes remain active until the end of your billing period (up to 30 days). After that, you keep up to 5 active QR codes (Free plan limit). The rest are paused — they stop redirecting but are not deleted. You can reactivate all of them at any time by re-subscribing.
Do paused QR codes still work?▼
Paused QR codes show a friendly "inactive" page instead of redirecting. They are not deleted — re-subscribing to any paid plan instantly reactivates all your QR codes.
What payment methods do you accept?▼
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Your payment information is securely processed and never stored on our servers.
What is the Codex QR Desktop app?▼
Codex QR Desktop is our standalone app for Windows and macOS. It lets you scan and generate QR codes offline, including batch processing. It's sold separately but works great alongside the Cloud platform. Desktop license holders can use a coupon for a discount on Cloud plans.
What happens when I reach my scan limit?▼
Your QR codes continue to redirect normally even after reaching the scan limit. However, new scans beyond the limit won't be tracked in analytics until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?▼
We don't offer a traditional free trial, but you can start with the Free plan and upgrade anytime. The Free plan gives you full access to core features with 5 dynamic QR codes.
